Default Dervish AB Build

I've been experimenting with Derv builds in AB for a bit. I've found a good one with a great balance. It can inflict conditions, do steady damage, and has great survivability. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

Mysticism: 10+1+1
Scythe Mastery: 10
Wind Prayers: 8+1
Earth Prayers: 8+1
Protection Prayers: 2

Wind Walker Insignia (chest), Survivor Insignia (leggings), Radiant Insignias (x3)
Runes Of Minor Mysticism, Minor Wind Prayers, Minor Earth Prayers, Attunement, Superior Vigor

I use a Hand of the Forgotten, although a Dwayna's Grace or Eyes of the Forgotten maybe a better option for energy/enchantments.

[skill]wounding strike[/skill][skill]faithful intervention[/skill][skill]heart of fury[/skill][skill]mystic regeneration[/skill][skill]mystic twister[/skill][skill]crippling sweep[/skill][skill]mystic sweep[/skill][skill]mending touch[/skill]

The final skill is up to you depending on your second profession. If you're not a monk, [skill]dash[/skill], [skill]wild blow[/skill],or [skill]plague touch[/skill] are great alternatives.

I find this build very versatile. Wounding Strike's recharge time allows you to quickly dish out Deep Wound to several enemies. Crippling Sweep allows you to snare any fleeing foes. By keeping up your enchantments you will increase your attack speed, keep a constant +9 health regen, provide good AoE damage, and supply bonus damage for Mystic Sweep.

Weaknesses include Dazed, Blind, and enchantment removal. Bringing along a good secondary condition removal skill can really make this build even more powerful.

Please let me know what you guys think of this build and how I can improve it.

First, your original build lacks a speed boost, and I'm assuming you normally run it without a speed boost due to the build's original way of use.

[skill=card]Pious Haste[/skill] or [skill=card]Featherfoot Grace[/skill] are viable without leaving the dervish skills. Pious may be better for a high mysticism, as is your build's backbone, and you can run for long periods due to its recharge rate.

Next, pump up Scythe Mastery. It's too low to do considerable damage in comparison to the weapon you're using. You want as high a critical hit potential and percentage as possible for maximum damage output. Especially since you're running a scythe elite and not a form elite.

[skill=card]Avatar of Melandru[/skill]+[skill=card]Wearying Strike[/skill] for maximum use of both scythe and mysticism. Optional, not what I say you should run. It's popular for a reason.

If it was my build, I would more than likely remove the wind prayers from the build entirely, and invest in Mysticism,Earth Prayers, and Scythe Mastery. Faithful seems pretty survivalist driven, imo, and I'm more proactive, so I would probably stick to:

[skill=card]Vital Boon[/skill] since it's a precast enchant. With Wearying and Melandru, you wouldn't need to run Mending Touch and Wounding, but playing in a comfortable manner always comes first.

[skill=card]Avatar of Melandru[/skill][skill=card]Wearying Strike[/skill][skill=card]Crippling Sweep[/skill][skill=card]Chilling Victory[/skill][skill=card]Heart of Fury[/skill][skill=card]Vital Boon[/skill][skill=card]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill=card]Pious Haste[/skill]

The above bar would accomplish what your are attempting with secondary skills, and make you more threatening, imo, yet this is all just my suggestions. I say play as you want to, just be effective as possible. Raise your scythe mastery, get a speed boost, and your good to go.
